The commonly held idea is that each unit in a college class equates to one hour of class time per week, and that one unit in a college class equates to two hours of time spent on the content per week at home.
Thus, taking 6 units, 6 x 1 = 6 in class hours per week, and 6 x 2 = 12 out of class hours spent on the material per week. 6 + 12 = 18. I also work about 20 hours per week. Thus, 20 work hours + 18 school hours = 38 hours per week. Full employment by most companies is considered to be 36 hours of work.
Thus, I am working/going to school full time.
