Quick 5 minute I'm busting out 5 minutes before I go to bed.
Console fanboys are retarded. Let's break down the main 3: Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo fanboys.
Sony: Usually the most illiterate of the 3, provides arguments with little or no facts to back up statements made; when a fact does happen to slip into the argument, it's usually negated by the 15 or so idiotic/non-aplicable statements made one sentance prior. Can usually be heard saying "SOCOM 2 is the best online FPS ever", "Killzone is better than Halo 2", "Dreamcast sucks", or "Nintendo sucks". When defending graphics capabilites, will bring up Metal Gear Solid 2 as being worse on the Xbox than the PS2, but will not only fail to mention that it was a retardedly fast port job, but will fail to mention a great number of games that were ported from Xbox/GameCube to PS2 in a far longer time that still looked like crap on the PS2.
Microsoft: Constantly reminds everyone that they have the best hardware, and that somehow makes up for the lack of Japanese games (don't say something stupid like Tecmo or Sega, 2 companies don't count) or RPG's (the real kind of RPG, no the RPG wannabe bullshit that MS fans tend to pull out of their ass like Fable and KOTOR). Claims that Microsoft is better than the other companies because they listen to their fans complaints and act on them, i.e. the original Xbox controller, even though such a mistake shouldn't have been made to begin with. Usually, fanboys pride themselves knowing that as a "fact", the Xbox is the best FPS console, when a consoles strongpoint has never been that genre. Also, Halo and Halo 2 will/must be pushed at least 5 times a day, even though the first one is slightly better than medicore, and that second one has no ending. When defending non-free downloadable content, will say that you're not forced to buy it, but fail to touch on the fact that the majority of the servers will put that map on rotation, and you're SOL.
Nintendo: Usually the most harmless; has less console thumping than the other two, but no less guilty. Can often being heard saying that graphics don't matter, but pride themselves knowing that the GameCube is a graphically superior console to the PS2. Usual behavior includes pretending that Nintendo games make up for a lack of 3rd party games, that Nintendo can do no wrong, and that everything can be righted with a Zelda game, a Metroid Game, or both. Gets very defensive when crappy media and controller come up in discussion, and claims that lazy devs are the reason behind people thinking they're crappy, even though it's because both were some designers aborted idea that ended up on some executives desk accidentaly. Will say that a lack of sales does not mean a lack of quality, but pretends that a lack of sales doesn't mean a lack of appeal.
Agree? Disagree? Post in the damn forums.

An actual new post

FLEABttn 2:25 AM |
First off, I updated my favorite anime list. Excel Saga no longer makes the cut. Lunar Legend Tsukihime is now ranked at 4.
Because that in itself isn't enough to really be an entire post, here's something I wrote somewhere else about bold predictions for the next console generation:
1)Xenon launches with such success in America that it turns some possitive looks from Japanese developers that aren't Tecmo including... v_v ...Square-Enix. Only closed door talks occur at first, but by 2007, the first major Japanese RPG hits the console. Xbox 3 launches with major Japanese support.
2)Playstation 3 launches with a medicore line-up including Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Fantavision SE, Sony advertises for Playstation 27, and once again, I'm told that I'm a *insert console here* fanboy for not owning one. Sony buys Silicon Knights for no real apparant reason. Too Human is released with critical acclaim, and everyone at Cloudchaser buys it, but then everyone says how much they hated it one year later.
3) Nintendo releases the Revolution with everything fixed that was broken with the GameCube: A media with plentiful space, a controller that fits more than Nintendo's needs, and a competant online plan. However, consumer confidence is low due to prior problems with consoles and the DS, and thus, 3rd party support is bad as well. If the Revolution does as well as the GameCube, then Nintendo makes one more console before being bought by MS. If it does worse, MS buys Nintendo in 2011.
4) The DS is an innovative piece of work, but due to developers that don't know what to do with the system and graphics worse than that of the PSP, the DS turns out to be Nintendo's worst failure since the Virtual Boy.
5) The PSP has a huge market lead over the DS. However, Sony stops making UMD movies to cut loses cause nobody buys them.
6) Sega finally gets over its internal turmoil in 2006, but Sonic Team is never the same. Rumor has it, UGA's bongs get in the way. Team Andromeda is created once again to make a sequel to Panzer Dragoon Saga.
7) EA buys Visual Concepts, but then spilts the team up. None of the VC staff end up on EA Tiburon.
And Eric, #6 up there gave me an awesome idea. We must talk.
