Lists, part 2
|
FLEABttn 5:30 PM |
Again, why do I even bother with lists. It's the last day of September and I didn't buy a single thing on my September list. Not one, single, damn thing. Not like I could have even if I wanted to, TimeSplitters 2 was delayed, but still. I guess my September list can be called "When I get my damn money" list.
Not like I didn't buy anything though. I did get Animal Crossing for my GameCube. It's cutesy, but very entertaining. It's easy to see why it got such high scores. I have oranges by the way, so if you wanna trade some fruit, e-mail me.
I returned FFX to my friend. I couldn't play it any more. It was so freaking boring. I already went over the cons of this game, but the two that really made me hate this game were the lack of gameplay (aka too much damn FMV) and the fact that there was a random battle like every 10 feet.
And with that, I will close with saying that Grandia 2's battle system pwns me.

AIM? FU!
|
FLEABttn 8:22 PM |
Because of all the God damn psychos our there, it is now not possible to IM me unless you are already on my buddy list.
I've been getting too many bullshit IM over the past few months, and more than enough to last me a lifetime.
Not like anybody who reads this could really IM me anyway...

It was horrible...there was spilt milk everywhere!

FLEABttn 10:55 PM |
We had our first rally of the year today. I hate these things so! They're boring, retarded, and way too many other negative adjectives for me to list here. The one thing they're good for is they provide plenty of things for me to make fun of, and boy, do I love to make fun of things.
I've made my parents new HDTV my bitch for the weekend. My stepdad isn't getting home tonight until 12 or 1, and he's going to be gone almost the entire day tomorrow. I'm loving every minute of it so far. The HDTV is godlike, whether it be regular TV, DVD's, or video games.
I busted out my Dreamcast again. I "got" Ikaruga. Fun ass game. Very simplistic, but it's hard. Stupid hard. I also played Rez, Space Channel 5, and Jet Set Radio. Unfortunately, Rez froze on the last level, so I assume it has to do with the version I "got" was bad. Oh well, I'll buy this game eventually.
Increase my killing power, eh?

Stupid Columbia House!
|
FLEABttn 12:24 PM |
I swear, I should never have signed up for this thing. I have to buy 4 videos at the regular price by 11/19/02. What this means is that $80 is being diverted to this so that they don't take my firstborn child, or whatever the penalty for not buying these videos is. So, you see that Septmeber list down there? Yeah, that's kinda getting pushed back to who knows when.
Columbia House = Great Satan

Mein Gott!
|
FLEABttn 10:44 PM |
I just checked my website's hits, I just noticed that in August, people from Singapore, Germany, and the Russian Federation checked out my site.
When I first made this site, I never expected people from other countries (other than Canada, who I actually have gotten no hits from) to visit it. Hee hee!

Yeah, well...

I haven't updated in a while cause the last time I tried, it messed with my blogs template/formatting. I don't know why. Blogger does that overy once in a while. Sometimes the change is permanent (only one, I managed to fix the html somehow, I don't even know html), sometimes are temporary (like the one that just happened). Because of this, the date is like 1 or 2 weeks off on my last post. Oh well, not like I can bitch about a free service.
OK, I don't understand why I even bother to put up a "to get" list on my website anymore. They change every 5 minutes in my head anyhow. Well, the list hasn't really changed since last time, other than I am not going to get all of these in September. I lack funds.
Socom. This is the reason why I lack funds. I went out and bought this game and it is awesome. I can't wait to get it working online, if I can get it working online.
Cartoon Network started showing Inu Yasha on Adult Swim Action. It's an 80+ episode series, so it's going to be a while before I see all of it, unless I get impatient and buy the bootleg DVD's. I've only seen 1 episode so far (they've only shown 1), and while it's a little slow, it's good.
Speaking of anime, I watched Evangelion: Death & Rebirth. As you may have noticed, I gave it a 3. There was a good reason for this. First off, it's just a compilation of footage from the series. I'm not going to give a compilation like this a 5. The other reason is the whole Rebirth is not really Rebirth issue.

September is gonna hurt me...
|
FLEABttn 9:16 PM |
...in more ways than one. First off school starts, and second, there's hella stuff I want/need to buy:
-FLCL vol 1
-Hellsing vol 2
-X vol 1 (plus series box)
-End of Evangelion
-TimeSplitters 2
-Grandia Xtreme
I borrowed Final Fantasy X from a friend. So far, this is wht I think:
Pro's:
+Nice graphics
+Decent battle system
+Great music
Con's:
-Too much dialogue and FMV's and not enough game
-Blitzball
-Godzilla-like dubbing
-Can't go more than 10 feet without a random battle
-While I liked the battle system, it was missing something
FFX Status:
Mushroom Rock - Aftermath
8:56
Aw, people can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent.
Forfty percent of all people know that.
